in the previous post we discussed some very important key points on self esteem and how a healthy Self esteem can be developed.  _change of atmosphere.  _The right association.  _The right diet. in this post I'm going to be further discussing two other major points that can help you develop a better healthy self esteem. _ Faith in yourself and also _ keeping a track record of progress and success.  1. Faith in yourself There are so many people that are so gifted, they have Great potential and talent, but some of these people don't really achieve much because they fail to recognize their ability and they don't believe in themselves.  No matter how gifted an individual is, if he/ she fails to recognize it and believe in themselves they may not achieve so much. No matter who you are and what you do you have to believe in yourself. The best of every student can be seen when they believe in themselves and put in good effort to make sure they do better....

THE POWER OF WORDS It is psychological confirmed that words have a very strong influence on the lives of individuals and especially children both negatively and positively. Words can be a big source of encouragement to a child or a source of discouragement.  There can not be any true achievement and success without some sort of motivation. There are two types of motivation: 1. Intrinsic motivation: This is the motivation that comes from within an individual, driven by a strong desire for achievement. 2. Extrinsic motivation:  This is the type of motivation that is sponsored from external factors. It is a deep desires for achievement that comes from someone or something.  The intrinsic motivation of a child is good and is healthy for his educational performance and success. But in most cases intrinsic motivation is not enough because of the pressures and the demands that come with an outstanding academic performance. Every child also needs extrinsic motivation....

I have learnt by strong observation and also by experience as a teacher that the performance and success of every student is not only determined by his teachers alone but by his parents. parents have a very big role to play to help their children perform better academically. The success of a child begins at home. For every student, there must be a balance between life in the School environment and at home. Every child is a reflection of the home he belongs to and every parent is responsible for the growth and development of their child.  Many parents believe that the success of their children and the increase in their performance is dependent on the teachers. But the truth it is more dependent on them.  As a parent know this. You are not there in your child's classroom, you are not always there to supervise his learning activities, but you are there at home. your role at home is very important.
